April 12 at 2pm (2pm - 4pm)the parade will begin on the campus of VCU.
The VCU Intercultural Festival Parade promotes the festival and welcomes new students who are visiting for the VCU Admissions Block Party on that day.
Thank you to all of those who participated in the first EVER VCU Intercultural Festival Parade on April 8, 2006!
The current proposed route encompasses Floyd Avenue, Laurel Street, Grace Street, Harrison Street, and Main Street.
We are currently actively looking for student and community organizations to help be in or sponsor the parade! If interested, please fill out the
Parade Sign Up Form if you are interested in sponsoring or being a part of this wonderful opportunity!
Parade Route
This year's parade will start at the corner of Floyd Avenue and Harrison Street in the VV parking lot on the campus of VCU.
The parade will turn right onto Harrison Street
The parade will turn right onto West Grace Street
The parade will turn right onto North Laurel Street
The parade will turn right onto Main Street
The parade will turn right onto Harrison Street
The parade will end at Harrison Street and Floyd Avenue.
This year's parade will include music, dancing, student organizations, horses and floats! If you want to join on the fun, walk with us! It is bound to be a colorful time!
